Fence, cybersecurity risk assessment and management

Fence is the Airbus Protect tool for cybersecurity risk assessment and management.

Fence is a software solution, enabling simple and intuitive risk assessments with the EBIOS RM methodology, as well as compliance assessments. Fence also enables following-up the identified risk and their treatment plans, providing graphics and indicators.

It is a web application, to be deployed on premises. It is also possible to install it on a workstation or laptop, even on an air-gapped network.

A tool designed by the consultants who use it

Originally a tool invented for the risk assessments delivered by Airbus Protect consultants, Fence embeds our expertise, made available to our 400+ users.

Fence is the software solution used by Airbus for cybersecurity risk management, now available off-the-shelf. It is developed by our team based in Toulouse, France with state-of-the-art practices, within our software edition department.

Fence origins are still in its DNA: its features are designed in collaboration with the consultants who use them, and many of them are actually implemented upon their request. Indeed Fence is still the tool used daily by our risk management consultants.

ANSSI label & standards

Fence has received ANSSI’s EBIOS Risk Manager label, for risk assessment software solutions.

This label ensures that software solutions implementing EBIOS RM are fully compliant with it. It is delivered by the ANSSI (the French national agency for cybersecurity), who is the author of the EBIOS RM methodology.
