Safety & RAMS
We support safe system development throughout the V-cycle by applying best practices like ARP4754 and ARP4761 to anticipate and mitigate risks. This covers safety plans, dedicated to customers’ processes, safety analysis tailored to aircraft (aircraft/system/equipment levels) or helicopters, such as FHA, PSSA, SSA, FMEA/FMES, MMEL, CCA, PRA, and dependability assessments aligned with space authority regulations.
Design Assurance
We ensure systems meet safety-critical requirements and standards through a structured and a traceable approach, by ensuring compliance with DO-178, DO-254, ARP4754, and related regulations. This support, across the entire lifecycle, can be in the form of documentation writing/review, gap analysis and audits. Additionally we support quality assurance for both product and process dimensions.
Model-Based Engineering & Safety (MBSE/MBSA)
We combine functional modelling and failure propagation analysis to improve system design and safety performance.

Human Factors
We perform Human Factors analysis and recommendations on systems that support real-world human use, minimising operational risks and ensuring intuitive interaction. It covers a few technical aspects: Cognitive ergonomics, applied to aircraft and helicopter systems, Linguistics expertise to ensure clarity and safety in HMIs. We have a multidisciplinary approach combining engineering, psychology, and design.

Supporting a major OEM in achieving Type Certification
Airbus Protect played a pivotal role in securing Type Certification for one of the aerospace industry’s leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
Our contribution included the successful delivery of key Safety & RAMS activities, notably the completion of the System Safety Assessment (SSA) for ATA chapter 28 (Fuel System). Throughout the project, our experts were fully engaged in technical exchanges with the certification authorities, ensuring alignment on safety objectives and compliance with regulatory requirements.
This collaboration demonstrates our ability to deliver critical safety documentation, manage authority interfaces, and contribute to the successful certification of complex aircraft systems.
